The certificate to be awarded and the program title shall read: "NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING".
The National Diploma program in Electrical Engineering is designed to produce skilled technicians and technologists who can apply engineering principles to design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and equipment under supervision.

Applicants with credit passes in English, Mathematics, Physics, and any other relevant science subject (e.g., Chemistry, Technical Drawing) in WAEC, SSCE, GCE, or NECO and who have attempted UTME JAMB are eligible for admission.
